    nikon d 300 80-400 mm lens.few days later baby ran over by some uncaring motorist!

    Oh no! Now I am sad....poor little guy..

    I like your framing, and the pose of the baby is good. I wish the adult had given you a better head angle. A little fill flash with this light angle would have opened up the shadows on the birds. A sweet scene!

    Yes, nice framing and sharp, but by initially choosing a poor light angle you set your self up in a difficult situation. The broken off reeds in the BKGR are distracting in part because they are well lit...

    Suggestion: unless you are going for a silhouette or a strongly backlit image, point your shadow at the subject...
