    I have a few of this Osprey in various stages of activity and will post a few I think are decent.
    Taken at the Green Cay Wetlands Preserve with a Canon MK-3 and 500-MM f/4 IS lens.
    ISO=160 at f/8 and 1/640th + 0.3 EV.

    Very interesting behavior. With the Mark III you can easily go to ISO 400 without much noise. A little bit more eye contact would have been nice.

    That is a huge chunk of nesting material! Nice composition and perch. I agree with Axel that a higher ISO would have prevented the wingtip motion blur, although some may like the motion isuggested. Some of the whites are a tad over, you might reconvert a little darker.

    Love the perch and pose, detail is great as it is exposure, it is true that some whites look a bit hot, but they don't take anything away to this great shot! Congratulaitons!

    HI Bill,

    Excellent timing but you need to tone down the highlights in Photoshop. Simply select the tree and using curves will do the trick. I also wish for a better eye contact and head turn but you have a very nice series!!

    See you soon!
