    Default Wood Duck

This is an older shot. I used the 600mm and the 1.4x on a tripod low to the ground.

Love this low-angle wood duck with punky hairdo. Ordinarily I'd say a head or body turn would improve it, but then you'd lose the spiky crest feathers. Nice sharp focus on the head, good eye contact. I like the foreground better than the background which is more OOF. Thanks Rob!

I also like the pose, especially the hairdo and the abstract reflection. The duck looks slightly over-sharpened to me.
