The horse is "Comet", an old Belgian, the day before his last time in the show ring. The little girl is part of the ranch family and is completely unafraid of him, and obviously they are friends. "Comet" is now retired from competition and enjoying his job as the only stallion at the Belgian ranch. (His yearling daughter won the entire show!)

I have several images of this interaction, including them being nose to nose, and of the girl giving him a kiss. I am unsure which image I like best. But this one shows a bit more energy on the girl's part, and more contrast between their sizes since "Comet" has his head higher here than when receiving his kiss. Plus, due to movement, I have more of "Comet" in this image, than I do in the latter images in the series. Should I crop more off the left side?

I would appreciate any comments you have.

Would not crop at all Do like it as presented. Love the interaction Her hand position and the horse looking into her eyes make for a powerful image. Do post others when you can This is very good !!!!!

This one is my favorite, Cheryl. The stripe downt he horse's nose leading down to the hands at his mouth...it's unbeatable.
