At the Kruger Park South Africa we encouterd this bird between the branches of a tree. A nearby white wall provided onoff ligth to make this picture the way it is.

    Hi Alex,

What a cool looking bird. Love the head turn and pose. I find the top leaf somewhat distracting but at the same time I like the "habitat" feeling to it.

I like the soft light, details, pose and composition. There seem to be some clone marks above the bird's head.

Alexander, I love the high-key feel as well as the composition in this image. I think the OOF vegetation at top left gives a nice balance, but that's just my opinion :-)

Lovely image. Liked everything about it. Excellent details & sharpness. Liked the hi-key BG.
The leaves on top-left add to the image IMHO.

Clone marks or not I think the blotches that Axel mentions should be cleaned up (there are some in LRC too). Wouldn't mind seeing the eye area lightened a bit. Otherwise very nice, and I like the vegetation included. Great thin perch too :-)

Wow, love the soft light of this image. I like the OOF branches, the BG, perch and pose. Fantastic. I agree with Axel about some marks at the top of the bird and near the tail at the right. I also agree with Daniel´s suggestion about lightening the eye a bit and adding a touch of contrast to avoide noise. A very fine image to my taste Alexander, congratulations
