I made this picture of an Egyptian Goose in spring and what I really like is that wonderful head and eye of the young bird, looking so curious in our fantastic world....

Very cute, soft light, setting and details. I would give it a bit more room.

Rosl, love the intentness on the bird's part! Can you move one of the in-focus flowers into its vision? so we can see what it is peering at? It's prob more interested in a bug than a flower though.

Hi Guys, thank you so much for your gentle words... I am happy to learn such a lot of things here in the forum! In the beginning it is often hard and sometimes I felt so bad, always hearing what I did wrong. But now sometimes I can create images, that some of you like :D And that is a wonderful feeling, worth every efford of the learning process. Now it becomes fun to learn more and more. And there are lots of things around that I want to learn!

@ Axel: thank you for your critique; I have no more canvas around the chick. I was laying on the ground and there were two chicks walking around, moving from here to there, coming closer, moving further away; this image was made, when the chicks were quite close to me.
