Autumn flavor
I took the kids to the corn maze at a local apple orchard and was trying to come up with something that I could play with in PP, so that it looked like I was painting with light. So I picked out a corn husk and peeled it back a bit and here is the finished product after playing with it in Nik color effects and a "Dragonizer" filter.

Great effect, Mike! It really adds to the ambience of the piece. I do find myself wanting to see what's going on in the BG...have you thought about lightening that up at all?

Its just the green stems that the corn grows off of, I darkened it on purpose so as it wouldn't take away from the focal point of the image. ;)have you thought about lightening that up at all?
I like it -- the light really brings it to life. I think darkening or blurring the BG would further enhance the photo.
It works for me too, I like the "glow" of the corn :)
