    Hi Sid -

    This is a long-billed curlew. I like the ruffled feathers...nice crisp detail... and the low perspective is good. A little more room on top would be good here, and I might clean up the beach a bit. Nice capture.

    Ditto Linda plus the line of the wave is distracting. Also, you needed to move a bit to your left to better parallel the bird. Love the ruffle.
