The deer looks good with the sheen on the antlers and coat. THe bright FG grasses are a big distraction SId and should be burned in and made darker.

Undecided about the tree on right BG. In one sense it balances the buck but it draws my eye a bit too much.

Good posture on the deer looking sideways head-on at you. Did you make a noise to get the reaction?

I totally agree with Robert's critique. The grasses in the FG are really bright and way more of a distraction than the back tree. The buck is beautiful and you did a great job of capturing a wonderful stance and eye contact.

Nice looking buck with a well captured, head on pose. I think I see a slight bluish cast but I'm not sure.
