I took this picture at Estero Lagoon a few weeks back. I believe the bird in the center of the frame here works well due to the colors in the background. What do you think?

    Hi Adams,
If you are going to leave the bird in the center of the frame, I would crop the composition into a pano, and clean up the dirty water, my eye keeps getting dirty... If you decide not to do the pano crop; I would move the bird to the right of the frame , complying with the rule of 1/3 and also cleaning up the water... In addition, you need to tone down the whites on the bird, they are a bit hot...

HI Adams bird does look fine there but would crop into more of a pano as suggested It will give a sense of forward motion Very pretty pose and love that water !!!! Excellent !!!

Beautiful color in this one, Adams. I vote for the pano crop, too.

Love the blue and gold too. Agree with maybe taking a bit more off the top and go for a pano.
