    Hi all....

I am now coming with my last and hopefully best picture of the Siberian Jay... I hope you like the eyecontact better here and also the light I think is better...

Beautiful shot super detail and pose I would consider maybe cloning out the whitish color area in the left corner. Thanks for sharing....

I would say this is good eye contact :)

Beautiful capture, agree on getting rid of the white area.

    Hi Johannes,
Super detail, color, and light on this subject. Have you tried a tighter crop to the edge of the whitish spot in the green BG? It might be interesting to see a sliver of green on both sides of the frame. Very nice image in any case.

Thank you very much... Now I know what you mean with eyecontact :)

I have tried to get rid the white area by cloning. But I cant make it to look good. I use capture nx2 and I dont know how to do in photoshop where I think it is easier to get it to look good...

Steve, I am not sure what you mean by a sliver of green on both sides of the frame...

    Johannes,
I was thinking about a crop similar to this. It may be a bit tight for you and I like your crop better but this would eliminate having to deal with the whitish spot. There's probably an easy way to nicely blend that spot with the surrounding color but I'm afraid I can't tell you what it is as I've had problems with that kind of thing myself.

Hi Steve and thanks for the comment and suggestion on crop... I like your crop but I do like my crop better. I think the bird gets a bit to center in your crop.... I dont know how to blend the whitish spot either but I am practicing :)

    Cheers and thanks // johannes
