    Out at Ft. DeSoto this morning, this Egret was being quite the character.

    I got to spend a long time wallowing in the sand and tide pools taking pictures of him - and a couple actually worked out pretty well!

    70-300 @ 145mm
    1/400 sec at f/6.3
    Handheld.

    Amy, you're right. a very nice pose, but more individuality and curiosity in your previous post in the ETL forum.

    Nice comp. Amy I like your low angle and the pose captured by the Reddish Egret the small crashing wave adds to the shot .
