This Reddish Egret started getting curious about me after a while at Ft. DeSoto this morning, so I took advantage of the eye contact.... :)

P.S. Anita, I tried to come up with a cute title, but my imagination failed me today! :)

I really like the pose! Can you up the contrast or something to make the bird stand out more?

You gotta love the reddish egrets! they are great!

Hi Cheryl - One order of contrast, and some reduced brightness on the side....

I do have other shots - This one was the funniest because his neck was kind of to the side.... I also have a couple of "pretty" poses - I'll post when I can. (See Avian: forum) ;)

    Thanks,
    Amy D.

Re post looks just fine !!! Excellent suggestions and carried out to perfection !!!

Now you might want to take just a little of the left side With these I like taking multiples to have different wave action bg, they all will be very different !!!

Be careful what you wish for, Al.... :)

No room on the left side here - except for some rotation he is full-frame. I do have one that is aligned more to the left side, and the BG waves were fairly flat - but I couldn't see both eyes. I also have one of him running the opposite direction, and squawking (beak open), but his hind-foot is cut off. It's not bad, because he's running into the frame, but still....

I'll post them over the next few days in a series. He really was in rare form.

Katie, yes he was a lot of fun. Would have been nice if he could have been more still.....

    :)
