Beautiful bird Ken! You got great eye contact. The whites look a little cooked on the neck. I'm surprised you only got 1/500 at f/5.6 and ISO 800; seems like there was plenty of light. I'd darken the light area above the bird's head and see if I could tone down the whites a bit. Thanks for posting!

I like the split bg and nice wing position on the Stork I agree with the whites being hot maybe you can tone them down alittle. Nice Shot!
