    Made this picture in Kruger NP one of my favorite birds I saw in South Africa because of the beautiful colors.....

    Very nice colors and details. The angle is a bit steep and I might accentuate the catchlight a bit more.

    Quite elegant. Well done despite the harsh light. Blow the eye up huge, select the iris with a Quick Mask and lighten it by pulling the curve (CNTRL M) up. That will make the eye visible and add life to the image.

    As already mentioned the eye does need some work. However, the bird itself is extemely handsome and I love the colours.

    Yes Arjan, the beautiful pastel colours of this Roller have great impact. Even the perch is elegant in design and enhances the composition. A highlight in that eye would take it to the next level!!
