    Default Spoonies at noon

This is a photo from the first shooting day with my Sigma 300-800mm :)

The spoonbills suspiciously stared at me, but the respectable ~ 25m allowed me to take several photos before they leave the place.

This image is a re-post of a previous one, but with more post process involved, so as to soften the harsh noon light.

Three layers: for the BKGR, the birds and the flashing Whites on the back; two raws files combined lately in the Photoshop are used of the same shot - one for the BKGR (landscape profile) and the other undeexposed one just for the bird, from which I lately separated the flashing Whites layer.

Mark II n, Sigma 300-800mm at 700mm, ISO 160, f/8, 1/800, -1/3 (the lens layed on the car's front door frame).

I like the composition, and you brought the whites in nicely. I just wish the one bird's head wasn't blocked by another bird's bill.

I remember this one Nicolay. I like the composition a lot and the nice BG. Too bad that the spoonbills are overlapping. Excelent job on saving the whites in PS. Congratulations:)

Compared to the original the whites looks much better, I like the saturation of the BG and the details on the birds. A serious improvement for sure!
