Letter "V" GBH
this GBH made a super "D" as posted in my other thread, but just was
not able to get the letter "V" correct. He did make a wonderfully graphic/posed attempt.
Almost a 100% crop, as he was way out from shore
400mm w/1.4X, ISO 800, 1/1600, f/8, +1EV

Dave, you're killing me with these GBH images! I've spent all summer chasing one and haven't managed to get anything close to these. They are a taunting bird!
I think your composition and exposure are spot on but I think there might be some noise in the BG? Could just be the water photographed but you might want to check it. Everything else is enough to make me want to stand in a corner and cry...
This is kinda fun to watch Dave. All you need is the "A" and the "E", a bit of photostitching, and you've got your new signature file ;)
I might consider cropping it just a bit tighter, but that's definitely a subjective thing. It definitely looks good as is.
Great composition, pose and light. Works for me as presented.
