Drypod field test
Things are starting to come together nicely for the Drypods. We did a test run of the new Deluxe model this morning at the Estero Lagoon. Many thanks to Maxis to giving them a good work out. Jim Cladwell and his crew were there to shot a video about the Drypods so Artie and I will have something to show the people that have never seen them in use. The new Deluxe units will have 3 custom made boots with the Velcro's sown on so they won't get lost. The boots also have a Velcro that tightens around the foot of the tripod thus stopping the tripod foot from sliding back and forth inside the sleeve. The new kit comes with a large string tie ploy bag to put the wet Drypods in when you come in from the water. The weight of the set in about half the weight of the old set. I'm going to keep testing and improving them as I get feed back from the guys in the field. Thanks again Rod
