    I like the overall composition of this photo. The bird - I can't id it either - looks good to me. I might tone down a bit that lighter color band near the top of the photo though.

    I very much like the crop you chose in this one Michael, If this were mine I would be tempted to remove the pinkish color in the BG on the left near the top but love the overall feeling of smallness you captured in this image as well as the action and ruffled feathers. Well done and many thanks for sharing.

    I like your composition and the mood of this image....the sanderling looks as if he is out for a peaceful stroll. I might have used a little higher ISO so that the bird's legs would not have motion blur.
