    You don't see a lot of b&w bird images. This shot I felt was an excellent candidate.
    I put this here because of the perch, this is a wild subject.

    Paul, very nice composition on this! I like your image quite a lot but felt it might need a bit more punch in the contrast to help bring out a bit more of a tonal range. My eyes are tired tonight but I did a quick curves adjustment to show you what I'm talking about. Just pop the whites a bit more and deepen some of the midtones and I think it will bring a bit more interest to your image.

    Also...just an FYI...we do have a forum for B&W images down in the "Out Of The Box" forums. Check it out some time!

    I posted a comment on this one the other night.....guess I hit the wrong button. I like the composition of this one and as always.....I like fence posts. It works well with B&W. I like Jules' repost but maybe with a tad less contrast. The original also needs a bit of sharpening......but I do like it.
