Great light, setting, BG and details. The low angle works really well to frame the bird.

    HI Marko,

    Congratulation in your new purchase!

Lovely colors and the BG is very nice. However, I wish the beak was not as close to the ground. The head angle is great. I hope you don't mind but I removed the vegetation in front of the bird. I would like to know your opinion. I simply used QM.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks!

Great angle of view. I love the pink FG. I agree with the repost. Fill flash would have added a catchlight giving us a better eye contact with the bird. Congratulations.

    THX for your kind comments..
I did not clone vegetation in front of the bird because I think that is balancing composition....that is the reason why I put the bird in the middle and vegetation on each side ...beak is close to the ground because she is laying on her belly...like me;)
I skipped saturation this time because I think it gives more gentle feel and go better with soft FG and BG
I like color correction on the FG and BG but not on the bird...IT is autumn and feathers are worn...not so vibrant
hope you understand my english :)))

I like original better as repost is a bit oversaturated. The red salicornia foreground is very nice. The left side red ticks took my eyes indeed but love it. Nice image. Congratulations for the new gear :) Enjoy it :)

Beautiful photo! I don't think the foreground vegetation detracts at all, and may add another focal point to keep the eye moving within the frame. I do prefer the saturation of the reposted image compared to the original.

I love as presented, I wouldn't change anything in the original. I liked the vegetation in front of him.

I like both options...it's just a wonderful image all around. I can't get over what beautiful lighting this is...you really caught a golden moment!

Marko, congrats of the 500/4 - you will have to love all about it, as this is a very well-balanced in terms of focal lenth, weight and flexibility lens :)
The image is very nice, I would love to see the bird from a higher view angle with less of the redish foreground.
