Lapland Bunting

Could get real close to this Lapland Bunting, but it was very busy, sometimes it stopped for a couple of seconds allowing me to tak some shots.

I like this a lot! Great light, setting, BG, details and eye contact. Maybe a tad more room at the top.

I like the beautiful BG and the pose. Would be interested in details of shot. Maybe a bit more DOF would bring the foreground rock in focus.

I don't think I could get the rock in focus with a bit more dof, because I was really close and the rock goes far forward.

Good image. The colour and clarity are good with even density across the frame. Central subject is clean and sharp; eye has life in it. Do agree that a little room at the top would open up the image. The blur in the fore-ground is acceptable IMHO as it gives the impression of peering up over the rock, leads eye to subject. :):)
