Pretty bird, good light and details. I wish for a bit more eye contact a more uniform BG and would crop a bit off the top. Could you have moved a bit to your right? Please post some techs.

The BG is very distracting and I think taking some off the top would help, eye contact is good for me but I think would change for the better with the crop.
