    i didn't know what else to put up so... in the future if i don't have a current pic, i won't put anything up. canon is fixing my camera for free. they are really good guys. expect to get it on Monday. see you then.:)

    Hey Mike, my very first swallow shot is kind of like this. Only that my swallow is facing left. One thing yours is better than mine is yours have a better head angle, and mine was looking away :o

    Very nice Mike,
    I like the composition, the bird is placed just right in frame. According to your tech. specs, you were using a 70-300mm lens. For your next capture, try to get in closer to your subject, so that you can fill the frame with him. The background and the wooden railing is a bit too over powering for this little guy. Thats ok...for now...the next one, I want closer. like this illustration which I cropped to show you...:cool:

    thanks to you all. i just saw a picture of the most beautiful red breasted nuthatch i have ever seen. i seem to always get stuck with its cousin,the white breast. they are bad luck to me.
