another from the hooptie deux trip with james shadle. cant really help all the bg. hope you can overlook that for the action!

processed in CNX. straigtened, cropped, color balanced, dodged the dark area on the upper wing of the left bird, burned the whites of the two birds in the bg, added saturation +10, selectively sharpened the two birds, ran NR on the bg and that's about it.

    D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/10, 1/1000s, -0.3EV, ISO 400

thanks for looking and comments and critiques appreciated.

This is great! And one of my favorite lines from Nemo! Birds in the background almost look like they're sitting on the sidelines.

    Nice shot!

Hi Harold: Super photo, like the guys on the sidelines taking bets and making odds. Gina

Hi Harold: A different view that was suggested, so here's an idea how it might look. Uncle Gus ;);)

I like the sharpening of the birds done by Uncle Gus, but I would simply blur the background more. Good capture !

Hi MR H - I like it. Originally I thought it would be better with out the birds in the BG - but after seeing the excellent work by gus - I think I like it better with the birds in the BG.

Like the HA on BOTH birds and the action you have captured.

    Well done.

thanks, uncle gus! that's some nice PS work!! lance, i agree, but wish the one bird in the bg that intersects the wing of the left fg was gone.

desmond, i will try some blur and see how that works out. may even repost it.

thanks to everyone for all the comments and critiques!!

Excellent capture H. I actually like both, they give different perspectives.
PS. Excellent PS by Uncle Gus.
    Congrats to both.
