I took this picture about a year ago this month. The pelicans went along as the cormorants rounded up the fish. It
was a sight to see! And I'm looking forward to a repeat performance this year. The image is not cropped, but a few
"half-cormorants" were cloned out around the edges. I used a variety of post processing to try to improve the presentation. Could I have made more? If any, what? Or is the image simply not a "keeper"? And what would you suggest I do if I get another chance at it?
Big smile as soon I saw the image and do like it very much !! Would just evict more of the birds close to the margins !!! Amazing how little merges are with the cormorants !!!
One fine image, Wendell ! Wish there were more cormorants though (I knew you had no control of it). If you want to try something different next time, may be shooting at a lower perspective?
