    Here's another from my week down at Long Point this spring that I hope you will enjoy.



    Camera Model: Canon EOS 40D
    Shutter speed: 1/250 sec
    Aperture: 9
    Flash: On - 2 flashes for fill
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

    Great action, light and color. Those two branches with the leaves are too close to the bird. I would try to clone them out as they lead the eye away from the bird.

    SUPERB! I love these shots! Wouldn't change a thing!!! Big congratulaitons! Pose, BG, colours, light, perch, all looks just terrific!

    The bird is absolutely perfect, and I would be inclined to stay with the branches and leaves, I like the color they lend.

    Glenn, the lighting and comp are just fantastic, and of course the singing adds a ton of interest. I'm a bit undecided about the leaves just to the left of his beak, but it's beautiful anyway.
