The Solitary Pipers are migrating south and always stop at the ponds for a couple days so I set up a blind and watch them chase the minnows around.

Really nice image with a lovely reflection. Looks to be that it could do with a CW rotation, and the bird looks a little soft on my monitor. Great pose looking over the shoulder. Wonder what it might be like with a little more room all around too (i.e. to see more of the algae).

Hi - like this a lot - love the eye contact and the reflection - agree needs some CW rotation.

This is really nice, I like the colors included and the bird is great, looks like he has been eating well. I am not sure if it is a bit soft but, if so, doesn't bother me at all, it fits just right with the mood.

Lovely image but a bit tight for me. I would like to see a little more canvas all around. Like the pose and the composition and would give another touch of USM. Many thanks for sharing.

It feels a bit soft to me, and tight too, but overall I think that with more room all arround it would look much better! Congratulaitons!

I was in the water and had to take off my 1.4X as I could not get him in the frame and he watch me as I hope not to drop everything in the water as changing out. This was the best shot I had to get the reflection in, as it was full frame. Thanks for all your help it really helps for the next time on what shot to be looking for. Dennis
