    Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I see a lot of amazing work here. It looks like a great site. This was taken from my kayak

Hi Rob, and welcome! Very nice first post, sharp head and feather detail, maybe the eye could be sharpened just a bit. Would wish the wing weren't partially blocked by the grass, but overall a fine image. Thanks, and we'll look forward to seeing more.

Welcome. You certainly were low. I like the position of the bird's head against the dark area of BKGR. My biggest problem with the image is that the bird is flying ever-so-slightly away from you.

Hi and welcome! I like the fact that the wings are "touching" the grass, it what I first liked about this shot, although I would try to lighten the BG a bit and agree with Arthur about the bird flying a very little bit away from you, aslo, maybe a bit more saturation on the greens will help, still, great pose and sharpness! Congratulations!

Wonderful shot, even more so as it was done from a kayak! I too have considered taken my gear in a kayak, but still a little worried about getting it wet. Do you use dry bags?

Awesome capture from a kayak! Really love the wings touching the grass. If only for a slightly better head turn...

Welcome and a great first post. Love the low angle and as Artie mentioned It would have been great to have captured this a second earlier. Exposure and detail are good and I very much like the composition. Thanks for sharing and will look forward to your future posts.
