It was another wonderful day in here in Boynton Beach and the birds preformed wonderfully. Taken at the Green Cay Preserve with aa Canon MK-3 and 500-MM f/4 IS lens. Thanks to all who come to visit and to comment, it is so appreciated.

    Hi Bill,
Great bird and great pose - fantastic!
The blue looks a little funky to me - not sure why - and I do see a halo around the bird, either from sharpening or from shadow/highlights.
    Regards,
    Nicki

I would say that that halo is defintely beacause of the S/H, other than that, I love the pose and colours! Congrats!

Hi Bill, the halo is rather large - and as ramone mentions most likely caused by heavy use of S/H. I would also tweak the colour of the sky (especially the bottom part) as it looks not quite right. Otherwise you got a terrific landing pose!! I really love the wide open talons...very cool!

Everything as already been mentioned but congratulations Bill on excellent timing. The wing position and the outstretched talons are awesome in this capture. Thanks for sharing.
