    Hi Linda

Nice looking bird in good look back pose. The plant has the highlights blown, need softer light, reducing the exposure for the highlights would probably make the bird fairly dark. Suggest posting at the 800 size, will make easier to evaluate. Looking forward to more !!! ..... btw do like the tittle a lot just wish it would have been sunbird in the shade :)

Hi, Linda. I agree with the comments so far, but it's a very nice-looking bird. What's interesting to me is the Heliconia he's on. Heliconias are from my neck of the woods, the New World tropics, and they evolved to be pollinated by hummingbirds, also only in the New World. Nonetheless, we have torch gingers here, which are from the Old World tropics, and the hummingbirds love them. Looks like the reserve is happening here with the Old World sunbird and the New World Heliconia.

    Cheers,

I agree 100% with Alfred's suggestons and comments, also a slightly better head turn and better eye contact would've helped! Congratulaitons!
