I love how you have captured the character of the animal. Nicely sharp and a great pose. Exposure was obviously trcky. All that white fur on a bright sunny day. You don't appear to have blown the whites but I think maybe I'd like to have seen it with a fraction less exposure, easily done at the RAW conversion stage. If I were to pick nits I'd prefer that the shadow coming from the ear wasn't quite so strong.

agree with sean. you sure captured some character in the animal. does look a little bright in spots. also, if that is a water/horizon line in the bg, you may want to give it some CCW rotation to straighten it out. nice job, denise!!

Beautiful animal Denise. You did well considering the harsh sunlight. Agree with the good comments stated.
Looking forward to your next capture...

I think the highlights are ok, but I would crop a bit off the left.

I like it as presented and like it a lot !!!!

Softer light is the only thing that could have made it better. Also light over your shoulder would have eliminated the shadows. I like the bg, don't remember many with water behind !!! Might want to work on the eye and lighten a bit !!! Excellent

Lovely image, Denise, nice and sharp and the BKGD gives it context.

Nice portrait. Just wondering how close you were or if you had to crop a lot to zoom in.

Great composition. Love the look. Whites look ok in my monitor, do agree with Harold regarding the CCW rotation.
    Congrats,
