    This is another is the Giraffe series. Would it benefit from the same BG treatment as the first Giraffe?

    Im no expert on the technical stuff but I love this picture. It looks like the foreground giraffe is looking right at you.

    At the very least I'd recommend getting rid of those trees at the bottom right hand corner.

    BTW, you said the originals have a fence and a building in the background. So, what did you do to them, if you don't mind sharing? Did you clone them out or you replace the background entirely and change its color?

    I replaced the whole background. There was nothing redeeming in the old one.

    This is a fantastic image Kathy! A little Gaussian blur to the BG may help.

    Somehow, for me, the trees add something.... This to me is spectacular. I love the light coming through the eye of the giraffe that's looking at the you. The details on the face are incredible. I like it. Thanks for sharing your giraffes with us!
