It has a strong conical finch like bill and a somewhat sparrow like body. It appears to be a very young bird. The primary projection is quite long. The yellow bill and overall brownish body make me think it could be a very young Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch. They appear to be year around residents of Northwestern Montana.
