This image was captured yesterday afternoon, just after the high tide started to recede. There was no room to get a better angle as there was water directly on the other side of the subject and I was on a very slight incline.

    Nikon D300, 500 AFSVR, TC14EII, ISO 500, F 7.1, 1/2000, NearUniWB preset, CW metering, 0 EV compensation.

Nice work Jim! I like the way the water connects to the bill. A lower angle would have been nice, as you pointed out, but sometimes we get what we get. I like the ruffled feathers in this one. Thanks for posting!

Cute pose with the water coming from the bill. The image is also nice and sharp.

Nice pose and sharp detail. I like the ruffled feathers and the water at the bill. A lower angle would have been nice, but there are times when it just can't be done.

Lovely image and as mentioned excellent detail and the ruffled feathers is a nice bonus in this capture as well as the water falling from the bill. Thanks for sharing.
