    Default Black Shouldered Kite

I love this bird for its red killer stare. Here the kite has just launched from the tree to look for its next meal. :D

I like the eye contact and the action. I also find the bright portion of the bg to be somewhat distracting.

I know the species very well and realise that they are not easy to capture in flight, well done:). Everything works for me but I agree perhaps the sky is a bit bright (?)

Jay, that is one beautiful bird!!!!!

I have a program that you can download for a try out, although it doesn't render in the demo, that will help you with the sky since it has a grad neutral density filter. It has saved a couple of images for me:

Nik Color Effects version 3.0, I use the Select edition.

Great timing and details, Jay. I would try to tone down the sky a bit.

Thanks all for the feedback. I'll try to tone down the sky abit. Fabs, thanks for the recommendation. Let me try it out. :)
