    Just got back from spending a weekend with some gorgeous Snowy Owls. This image was created the first day as the Sun was getting low in the sky nearing sunset. I removed the yellow cast from the Sun as I like the white of these stunning raptors. I cropped this as I clipped her/his front wing. I may try to rebuild it later...

    What a magnificent creature! I love the eye, light, and detail. I'm not sure about the cropped wings.

    Wow, this is a beautiful close up Jody, I love the whites as well and I like the icy blue in the bg:cool:

    Agree with all the positive points below, a really striking image:D. Pity about the clipped right wing at the top.

    Nice eye; with good details..I thought that I would have liked to entire owl in the shot..But this has lots of impact.

    Nice Grab Jody - the blue bg makes me think of a watery marsh... I'm guessing it became blue like this during the colour correction on the owl? or was it just the normal saturation processing for the picture?
