Lately the birds have been non-existent or too far away or too skittish so today I had a chance to go to a neighborhood lake in northern Nevada and this goose posed for me. Hope you like it, too. C&C encouraged and appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Katie,
I was wondering where you have been. Thought there was too much space around your goose, so I cropped quite a bit. Maybe better shot as a vertical?, although I know you would lose the water rings. This looks like an early morning shot to me, the light is very pretty and I like the catchlight in the eye.

    Hi Katie

I was thinking of some sort of a crop I like what Jackie did Can always crop your from the top and add some canvas at the bottom I like the eye contact and pose !!!

    Lady Katie,
I like your composition, I too was contemplating the idea of a vertical, just like Lady Jackie did. It also has possibilities as a pano...try it and see if the pano composition works the best for you...good show...looking forward for your next one...

Thank you all for your help and I think I rather like the vertical crop, Jackie.
