    I love these big guys. Watching a formation flying by and hearing all the honking always gives me that "out in the wild feeling", kinda like a wolf howl. I could have cropped a little tighter but I liked the space and clouds in the BG. I have a couple more from this series I may post after PP. It's a shame some of the detail is lost. Going from an uncompressed TIFF to a JPEG to post is a bummer.

    Look at that gorgeous detail on the wings!!! Man, you really nailed it! I like the composition you chose - I think it totally works. Only comment would be to have a little more "blue" in the sky to set the clouds off a bit but it's very nice as presented.

    If it is an image of a bird with no out-of-the box thinking or post processing then it belongs in Avian Free and WIld (where it wound up).

    This image has the same color cast problems as the other... :)

    Color balance applied in much the same way as the other . They were taken 5 minutes apart.
