    Big Warm Welcome Zoltan !!!!

I like it all. Can't think of a better pose to have the bird parallel to the film plane with good (great) head angle and tail within the dof. Bg is gorgeous, exposure on the money and all very sharp !!! Bird is well place within fame and the perch sure looks good !!! If anything might lighten the yellow under the bird just a bit !!! Very fine image and hoping to see many more !!!

Zoltan, really nice perch and composition. I think some noise reduction on the background would help improve this already fine image.

    Welcome Zoltan,

A great first post. I lovethe perch, pse, BG. Great stuff. I agree that a bit of NR might help and I think that the use of fill flash could have also taken this one up a notch. Big welcome. Looking forward to more.

Great big welcome, Zoltan, I hope you feel right at home at BPN.

Lovely image and great advise so far. I'll add I'd prefer the branch not poppoing out of the corner on the lower right.

Welcome Zoltan! Just love the perch, pose, and BG! Here's a repost with a slight contrast boost and some NR in the BG. How do you like it?

Thank you for all the kind words and good advices! A bit of fill flash really would be good on this and I absolutely agree with the NR. The contrast is a bit too much for my taste, leastwise on this bad monitor at my workplace :) Thank you again!

Hi Zoltan, welcome to BPN...what an awesome start!! I like Doug's repost, not much difference but just enough to add some extra punch to your image.

Szia Zoli :) Welcome here as well! Good to see you posting.
Nice image presented here. Agree with repost as I was missing some contrast. The pose is very nice.
Keep up participation. This is a nice place to be even better.

Welcome Zoltan! Beautiful image. The pose is great and the perch is gorgeous. Very nice BG. A little fill flash would have made this wonderful image even better/\. I also prefer the slight boost in contrast in the repost. Looking forward to seeing more of your images.

Hi Zoltan and welcome. I do favor the repost with the increased contrast. It looks a bit like our catbird with a cap!
