    Lovely pose, Arsdel. Image looks a bit soft to me. BG good. May crop a little from bottom and right and add a little above to get the head closer to an intersection of thirds.

    Agree with Tony on this one Do like the direct look and bg The right crop will make a substantial difference !!!

    A classic nuthatch pose. Some good comments have been made above. I would also suggest cloning out the flash-generated catchlight.

    As above plus a question: if the flash is on-camera why is the rear 1/4 of the bird in shadow???
