Goodbye for a while

I am off for a 3 week trip to South Africa so will be out of contact for a while but hopefully having a good time chasing birds! This is a picture from a trip 2 years ago. Crested Barbet at it's nest hole in a tree. Just as the sun was rising so very warm light.

I love these birds! Great photo, lovely light. Not that it is over flashed at all, but maybe just a tad too much flash. IMO it could also do with a bit of sharpening on the body.
