    Female Snail Kite - S.C Florida

    This one from few weeks ago in a cloudy day and with a nice meal.... :)

    Hope you like it.

    Canon 40D, 500mm L @ f/5.6, ISO 400, 1/400 sec, RAW, Handheld, Slightly cropped to help composition.

    You really had nice lighting for this one. I'm wondering if a little USM is needed or if it's just a bird that has very smooth feathers and gives the appearance of needing the USM. Well done.....on a species that I've yet to get down there.

    Nice image. I agree about the head needing sharpening.
