Hi everybody! Today I want to share with you a shot from yesterday, a shot that I had had in my mind for a long time, a shot of a Shiny Cowbird singing, I love the pose the make when they sing, this shot it is just my first atempt, not the best as they come to the feeder I've prepared when the light is nice but weak, and their black colour dos not help ;) althought I don't like the moved bill I still think it looks good for a fisrt try, let me know what you think!

    Enjoy!

    Ramon:

I really like the details in the feathers, which is not always easy to hold on a black bird. The background is nice, really makes the bird pop. I like the curve of the perch, it is almost a mirror(reversed) of the tail feathers. I might be tempted to clone out the small twig on the perch, just because the rest of the image is so clean and simple.

    Nice one!

Our cow birds aren't as pretty.

Hi, Ramon. Exposure and background look great. If it weren't for the slight movement of the head, I think it would be just perfect; but it's still quite nice.

Great light, pose, exposure control and details. I might tone down the bright spot on the perch.

A very good first try this is Ramon. Lovely light, good detail in the blacks, great BG. Yes, the only nit IMO is the blurred beak

Terrific exposure, those blacks are fantastic! Love the bird´s pose, the light and BG. I agree about toning down a bit the white area in the perch. BTW "renegrido" is a very funny adjetive in Spain and I enjoyed to read about the local name of this guy:D:D:D
