    Default Western Tanager

Here's one from last May. This was my other most sought after species from last year and I was glad to get a few nice clean frames.

    Hope you enjoy this one.

Beautiful image, Glenn! Nice pose, perch, color, and subject. I'm not too wild about the oof branch, but that's a minor nit.

Sweet bird and BG Glenn, gotta love the colors you have here. My nit is the oof branch but certainly a nit only, would love this for my own portfolio.

Gorgeous Glenn. The composition works well on this one. The details and colors really makes the bird pop!

Love the color composition. The only eye taking part is the OOF branch. Interesting to see the DOF on the branch with the bird. The center of the focus range is well in front of the Tanager.;)

    Lovely, Glenn.
I don't mind the OOF branch, to my taste, it balances the composition. The little green leaves do bother me a little bit. I guess we all see things different.

    Happy New Year :)

It's a terrific shot. I love the beautiful colors agains that green BG. I rather like the OOF branches.....as Fabs says "it balances the composition". Well done!!!

Wonderful bird and lovely colors. Agree on the o-o-f branch. Was the o-o-f branch in front of or behind the bird? Was the bird attracted to food or water or were you just out for a walk?

    Later and love, artie
