Taken just as it was starting to rain.
Background is not the greatest and would have liked the eye on the little guy to not be so out of focus.

And a bit tight in the frame - 15 little guys under there - hard to believe I know.

    Lance,

    Nice capture.

Have you tried working with the white balance? With it being cloudy the image looks like it could use
    a little warming up.

    Hi Lance

I like the warming idea Can just go back and convert the image again If you do and have more room would like seeing more room around the bird .... and btw it is not an umbrella ... its a Condo !!!! :) You did get enough of the babies eye to make it interesting Same image from ground level would have been interesting !!!

Hi Lance, agree to a bit tweaking of post-processing seems to be in order. You've got a funny title though. Now you just need a group shot of the whole family :)

There's my lens and converter again! I guess I will have something to live up to when I get mine...

This is precious. I went back to look when I realized there were 15 chicks, and that's when I noticed all the legs underneath. Mama's plumage and the water droplets look great. And even the little one in front's eye conveys "hey, how come I get stuck out here!"

    Nice shot!
