    I have nothing new to post.....so here's one from earlier this spring in Ontario.



    Camera Model: Canon EOS 40D
    Shutter speed: 1/320 sec
    Aperture: 9
    Flash: On @ - 1 1/3 for fill
    ISO: 200
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

    This is superb, wonderfull in everyway! I wouldn't change a thing! Light, BG, perch, details. All perfect! Big congratulations!

    This is beautiful, it is why I love bird photography, images like this one. They capture a moment in time that happen so fast that one can not record in the mind with the bare eye.

    Glenn, though I agree with the others calling for a touch more room above the bird, I think it's still a successful image. Flash and ambient are right on, and the bird really pops from the background. I have a couple of shots of these guys here in Costa Rica but nothing near this good!
