    Well first, hello and welcome! I hope you are confortable here :)
    Know I see the subject a bit soft, and the light looks harsh, BG and perch are great and the bird's pose is excellent too, I would also try to de-center the bird a bit. Congratulations and again, welcome to BPN!

    Welcome Garry. I agree with Ramon regarding decentering a bit - I would probably crop off some from the right and may add a little on the left. The softness can probably be solved by optimising your sharpening for web presentation. Great BG. Look forward to more of your shots

    Welcome to BPN, Garry! Very nice first post. I like the calling pose, raised tail and BG. You could put the bird further to the right in the frame, sharpen it a bit more and tone down the bright areas on the perch a bit. I would also apply some noise reduction on the BG. Keep them coming!

    Welcome Garry! You caught the bird in a great pose; love the tail feathers and the open beak. Excellent advice from the others, so nothing much to add. Look forward to many more photo submissions from you here on BPN!
