    The lake is really up from all the rain we've had; many flooded campsites. Found this hedgeapple floating near a partially submerged boat launch.

    9-14-08, 7:17 p.m.
    1DMkIII, 500mm lens with 2x extender
    ISO 640, 1/320, f/8.0, fl 1000

    Anita, that's a really unusual image! I like it as is but almost wish I could see the entire water ring...it's cut off on the right. I know you were probably trying for the ROT's but I would have loved to have seen the whole thing.

    Colors in this are great and the water is beautiful!

    Hi Anita,

    Wow this is a first, a bathing hedgeapple!

    The soft low light angle and the off center comp with the bright color makes for an attention grabbing image! Well done.

    I would crop a little off the top and bottom to get rid of the dark splotches and to make it less square. Also the Hedgeapple looks just slightly oversharpened.
