Mike, I think this's the best I've seen from you !! It kind of look like some color toned b&w photo. May be just a bit of cropping here and there and a bit of blurring the background if you want to. I really like the color/tone as is. Keep it up !!

since my camera is still broken i looked my files and saw this one, if i get good light, i get resonably better photos.
this photo was taken back in january of 2008.
Great head angle and pose ...plus doing a behavior !!! For these bg I would probably go wide open to minimize the bg but can blur just a bit !!! btw birds wise I don't pass anything up ... always go after the best available !!!!
